The Pro-Am of the IV Bizkaia PGAe Open 2025 has left its mark on Meaztegi Golf, turning our course into the scene of a day of solidarity and sport in support of the dalecandELA Foundation, demonstrating that golf is a tool for social change in Bizkaia.
Record participation in a privileged environment
With 185 players divided into 37 teams, the Pro-Am has filled every corner of Meaztegi Golf with life, with professionals, companies, former athletes and amateurs sharing fairways and greens in an atmosphere of respect and union.
Figures such as José María Olazábal, Manuel Sarabia, Jordi Villacampa, Markel Susaeta, Beñat Etxebarria and Toñín Llorente participated actively, bringing closeness and inspiration to this day.
Meaztegi Golf: a course that inspires with every shot
The course designed by Severiano Ballesteros once again demonstrated its greatness, being a challenge for all participants and allowing them to enjoy unique views of the Bilbao estuary while contributing to a charitable cause that unites all of Bizkaia.

Thanks to this day, funds were raised for the dalecandELA Foundation, reinforcing the commitment of Meaztegi Golf and the Bizkaia PGAe Open with the research and visibility of ALS, showing that sport can become a channel for hope and collaboration.

The Pro-Am was completed with the celebration of the Children’s Pro-Am in collaboration with Jon Rahm Golf 4 Kids and Aladina Foundation, where the little ones could enjoy a day of golf at Meaztegi Golf learning values such as solidarity, respect and the importance of helping those who need it most.
